Newport, Rhode Island USA is located in the heart of Southern New England and can be reached by car, train, or bus. Selecting the correct transportation is important and planning is therefore required to facilitate a smooth transfer. Attendees should strongly consider arriving Wednesday, August 22, 2012 for the Workshop. For delegates arriving by Air, please consider arriving and departing via T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) which is 30 miles from Newport, RI. For some delegates, it may be more convenient to fly into Boston Logan Airport (BOS) which is 74 miles from Newport, RI.
Information on transportation options to Newport, RI can be found by clicking here.
Photos and media from the Newport-2012 Workshop will be posted as soon as they become available. In the meantime please enjoy some scenic photos of the Newport, Rhode Island area. We have also included photos from our previous workshop in Venice, 2010.
For those who will be attending and wish to have the opportunity to see the history, architecture, and culture of Newport, Rhode Island, we have organized four different types of Tours that you (and anyone who has joined you on this Conference) might wish to add to your visit.
The Tours are not part of the Conference, but we have managed to get great discount packages, give you the privilege to enter private exhibits, and still manage to be on time for the evening dinner events.
To register, please go to Newport Tour Packages. The tours are amazing and a great opportunity to enjoy Newport, Rhode Island for either yourself or your guests.
